Who are we?

L.I. Productions is a New York-based motion and digital production house founded by producer/cinematographer Lee C. Zhang and director/editor Yoyo Yang. With Lee’s visual arts background, Yoyo’s marketing expertise, and over a decade of hands-on production experience, we bring a distinctive creative perspective to work made for lasting impact.

Since 2013, our career has grown through the trust of clients across industries, including renowned brands, agencies, institutions, and creative partners. They came to us with ideas that needed direction, projects that needed reach, and moments where the right video mattered.

Over time, those collaborations became more than experience. They became our working method: listen closely, understand what is really needed, and carry the project through with care until the final piece feels clear, considered, and ready to stand in front of an audience.

With a career built on award-winning cinematography, Lee brings his visual expertise to the studio as a creative producer, overseeing projects and leading the team to bring creative visions to life. He is an associate of BAFTA and is currently collaborating with the World Wildlife Fund and National Geographic.

Yoyo is an award-winning director and editor, as well as a proud BAFTA member. Recognized as a promising female filmmaker, she has earned numerous accolades throughout her career. Her work includes impactful projects focused on culture and wildlife conservation, collaborating with organizations like WWF and National Geographic.
